Candle Still Life Tray

Details make all the difference. We created our Candle Still Life Tray in collaboration with our friend, the celebrated designer and antiquarian John Derian, using an excerpt from a one-of-a-kind vintage painting that we brought home from the Paris flea market. After zeroing in on this enchanting element, we passed this image off to Derian and his team of skilled artisans, who then reproduced it under luminous handblown glass in his NYC studio. The end result is a decoupaged dish that captures every brushstroke, color and unique imperfection that drew us to that original artwork. The perfect way to add antique character to a vignette, we love it as a catchall tray on a well-curated side or coffee table or hanging on the wall amongst other vintage pieces for a sense of history.
