Purple Slag Glass Faux Bamboo Cachepot No. 1
The mold mimics bamboo down to the nodes: corner columns rising to nubbed capitals, bracket feet at the base, the whole thing pressed in one pour of purple slag.
The mold mimics bamboo down to the nodes: corner columns rising to nubbed capitals, bracket feet at the base, the whole thing pressed in one pour of purple slag. The glass runs from near-white on the flat panels to deep blackberry at the corners, with pale blue-grey threading through where the colors met and folded. A very particular Victorian conceit, executed well.
