Table Runner, Manor Lane

A bare table in autumn, a few pears in a bowl, and a runner down the centre with hornbeams and bindweed moving across it.

Le Jacquard Français wove it at Gérardmer in the Vosges. Jacquard damask, so the pattern reads on both faces, matte one way and lit the other. The border comes from Victorian wallpaper. 100% cotton, 20 x 59 in, in Coloquintes, an orange.
