Tea Towel, Noël au Chalet

The Christmas cloth that is not a novelty. Part of Un Noël Grand Est, an official Élysée collection drawn from the winter landscapes of eastern France.

Le Jacquard Français weaves it at Gérardmer, in the Vosges, which is the region the collection was made to honour. Combed cotton in the Or colourway, a warm gold on dark beige, 24 by 31 inches, finished with a cotton hook rather than the usual woven label.
