Yatzy Travel Dice Game

Yatzy, the Scandinavian cousin of Yahtzee, in a slim patterned box. Five acrylic dice, wooden pencils and a scorepad, and a lid that belongs on a shelf rather than buried in a drawer.

The lid is a crisp geometric tilework in coral, pale blue and cream, printed on FSC certified paper over a sturdy little case. Six inches by four and a half. Small enough for a weekender, handsome enough to leave on the coffee table between rounds.

For the friend with the summer house and the competitive streak. The family that plays after dinner. The traveler who packs a game before a second pair of shoes.
